Just a reminder,  B12 Happy Hour will be CLOSED in Oakland on Saturday December 24 and in Walnut Creek on Wednesday December 28.  There will be a  B12 Happy Hour on Monday Dec 26 and Saturday December 31, as well as in OAKLAND on Weds Dec 28.  We’ll see you back in Walnut Creek in the New Year!

Dr. Autumn Drouin sent this letter to all of her patients earlier this week, and we wanted to be sure that everyone know of her impending retirement.  Dr. Drouin has been a tremendous asset to our practice for the past five years, and we will miss her tremendously!  Dr. Drouin is available to wrap up with patients through January, so please contact the office if you would like to schedule an appointment to see her.  You can also schedule free informational interview appointments with either Dr. Lutrin or Dr. Levy to determine if you will transfer care to another doctor in the practice.  We wish Dr. Drouin well in her future endeavors!

Dear Patients —

It is with mixed emotions that I am announcing my retirement from active practice, effective January 19, 2017.  It has been my pleasure to serve our community for the past 4 years as a family doctor. I am grateful to have met many great people and developed lifelong friendships with many patients.

If you want to schedule a final visit with me, please call the office at 925-949-8604 to schedule an appointment. After my retirement, I will pass on my patients to the other competent doctors at Tara Natural Medicine.  I am glad to leave my patients in their capable hands.  Of course, you may seek medical care from another doctor if you prefer.

Medical records are confidential, and a copy of your records or your child’s records can be released to you, transferred to another doctor or released to another person you designate only with your permission. If you choose to see a different physician or have your file sent to you, please sign the  enclosed authorization form and return it to my office as soon as possible so we may transfer your records in a timely fashion. Until then, your records will remain on file at Tara Natural Medicine. The fee for transferring your file to you or to another medical office is $25. If you have any questions, please contact our front office staff at 925-949-8604.

For over two decades, I have watched many families grow and have shared joy and heartache with hundreds of patients. I appreciate your loyalty throughout the years and will take the memories  of all that I have experienced with me into my retirement. I have greatly valued our relationship, and I thank you for your loyalty and friendship over the years.

Many of us could use a little energy boost over the holiday season, and our B12 Happy Hours have you covered!  Drop-in hours at our Piedmont office on Mondays, in Walnut Creek on Wednesdays, and in Oakland on Wednesdays and Saturdays.   We will be CLOSED on Saturday, December 24th and our Walnut Creek site is closed on Wednesday December 28, but otherwise all sites are open throughout the holiday season.  In addition to B12, we also have our homeopathic flu remedy, Engystol, as well as Vitamin D to keep your immune system on track.  And if you can’t get into a Happy Hour, you can always schedule time for an injection with one of the doctors during regular office hours.  Please contact the office at 925-949-8604 if you wish to schedule.

Does your employer provide you with a flexible spending account?  Don’t forget that those dollars need to be used before the end of the year!  FSA  dollars can be used for office visits and supplements in the Tara Natural Medicine office as well as in our virtual dispensary.  Be sure not to let those dollars go to waste!
