Dr. Sandy Lutrin

S_Lutrin2Dr. Lutrin has 28 years of experience in assisting people on their journeys to better health.  She views health as a state of harmony within the mind, body and spirit and provides compassionate care and treatment when these are out of balance.  Dr. Lutrin meets each patient’s unique needs with natural and holistic interventions.  Her background in conventional medicine combined with her training in naturopathic therapies makes her approach truly integrative.  Her experience includes treatment of thyroid and adrenal imbalances, metabolic disorders, gastrointestinal problems, cardiovascular issues, menopause, depression, anxiety and insomnia.

Dr. Lutrin has particular interest in senior wellness and is an advocate of healthy aging by using bio-identical hormones and taking care of osteopenia, osteoporosis, high cholesterol, and hypertension with good nutrition, exercise and supplements.
After receiving her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from California State University, Sacramento, in 1991, she worked as a psychiatric nurse.  Dr. Lutrin discovered Naturopathic Medicine after relocating to Arizona and graduated from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in 2003.  Dr. Lutrin had her own practice in Phoenix until she and her husband moved back to California to be near their children and grandchildren.  She began practicing at Tara Natural Medicine in 2016.
