Dr. Elizabeth Zamecki

Dr. Zamecki is on leave as of September 10, 2021

Dr. Elizabeth L. Zamecki is a licensed naturopathic doctor in the State of California. She earned her Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine in 2013 from Bastyr University in Kenmore, Washington, after having earned a B.A. from McGill University in Montreal. In addition to the core naturopathic curriculum, she has done extensive additional training in botanical medicine, as well as training in Craniosacral Therapy and Visceral Manipulation, both gentle hands-on techniques.

Dr. Zamecki completed a residency at Living Medical Arts, a family practice with multiple locations in Western Washington. Subsequently, she spent several years treating patients in Chico, California, before moving back to her “hometown” of the Bay Area.

Dr. Zamecki’s goal in healthcare is to support people in achieving their optimal health, both focusing on well being in the present as well as emphasizing prevention for the future. Her areas of special interest include digestive disorders, hormonal concerns, mental and emotional wellness, and immune dysfunction (including allergies and autoimmune).  Dr. Zamecki places emphasis on addressing the “foundations of health” – sleep, diet, movement and exercise, time in nature, nurturing and supportive relationships, meaningful work, and time for play and creative pursuits. A healthy response to stress is also paramount in today’s society, and is regularly addressed as part of treatment. Dr. Zamecki works with both adults and children.

Dr. Zamecki is grateful for the opportunity to assist the members of her community and is thrilled to be back in the Bay Area. She is looking forward to working with patients at Tara Natural Medicine.
